TSUNAMI on RR 4.0/4.6

RANGE ROVER 4.6 and Land Rover 4.0 ON LPG

IWEMA enterprise is now offering LPG systems for all 4.0 L V8 engines.

These engines are installed in Range Rovers, Land Rovers and Discovery's with LUCAS and BOSCH ECU's.
Although the engines and ECU's might be similar the actual setup of the software inside the ECU might vary between the different Range Rovers, Land Rovers and Discovery's.

For this reason we had to develop different Tsunami LPG systems for every particular type.

The Tsunami is a multi point vapor injection LPG system specially designed for Land and Range Rovers with GEMS or BOSCH motor management systems.

The difference between this system and other vapor injection systems are:

1 This system can cope with 8 cylinder engines.

2 This system can cope with over 225 bhp.

3 This system keeps track of the motor management system.

1 This system can cope with 8 cylinder engines. Most other systems are only suitable for up to 6 cylinders. This means you need a complete or partly double LPG system, while the Tsunami of IWEMA enterprise is already capable of feeding up to 8 cylinders.

2 This system can cope with over 225 bhp.
Most other systems reach their end at 200 bhp and therefore  these systems need at least 2 vaporisers.
The Tsunami of IWEMA enterprise can constantly deliver 230 bhp. This is suitable for the 4.6 Range Rover engine.

3 This system keeps track of the motor management system. The Tsunami of IWEMA enterprise is one of the few systems that monitors the ECU petrol injector signal
The ECU signal is used to shut off the LPG flow whenever the petrol system normally closes the petrol flow.
If this isn't done back firing can be the result when changing  gears and decelerating.
The LPG shut off also reduces fuel consumption.

This photo shows the LPG regulation.
The graphic shows the mixture:
Bottom is lean
Middle best mixture
Top is rich.

Most systems give a flat top and flat bottom of the graphic.
This system is able to reduce the LPG flow before the mixture reaches the maximum value of the lambda.
The result is an engine which drives very economically.

The Range Rover system can be delivered with a standard tank (size 60litres up to 110 litres LPG tank) or a 74 litres tank in the spare wheel well.
