IWEMA enterprise is "the" supplier of marine LPG systems for sports-, speed boats and cruisers.
We were able to develop LPG systems which meet our high quality standards.
We have installed systems on several inboard engine types.
All our systems are tailor made to fit the engine in your boat.

The most common petrol inboard engines are:

  • MERCURI           V 8 cylinder 5.7/8.2 litres 260/400 bhp
  • MERCURI           V 6 cylinder        4.3 litres            223 bhp

  • OMC                      V 6 cylinder              litres                   bhp

  • PCM                      V 8 cylinder         5.8 litres  275/330 bhp

  • VOLVO PENTA L 4 cylinder         2.3 litres           111 bhp

  • VOLVO PENTA V 6 cylinder         4.3 litres 190/205 bhp

This photo shows the TORNADO 450 low performance LPG mixer on top of the carburettor of a MERCRUISER 4.3L V6 Vortec.
The carburettor is still functional and therefore the engine can run on LPG or on petrol.

This photo shows the TORNADO 425 LPG mixer on top of the engine of a MERCRUISER 5.0 V8.
The carburettor is removed and replaced by a TORNADO LPG mixer and therefore the engine can't run any more on petrol.

This photo shows the TORNADO 450 high performance LPG mixer on top of a MERCRUISER 5.7 engine in a typical speed boat.
The mixer is automatically opened when the engine runs on petrol.

This photo shows the TORNADO LPG mixer on throttle body of a PCM 330bhp 5.8L V8 EFI engine. Its also possible to install a petrol starter. If this is done the engine can run on LPG or on petrol.
